How Printoodle Stories works
How does the story get written?
You answer a few fun questions (favorite things, the setting, a lesson), and we write a complete 20-page story around your child — with the reading level matched to their age band. The script is free to preview before anything is paid.
Will the character look like my child?
You describe the look (skin tone, hair, glasses, freckles, favorite-color sweater) and we draw a character sheet that you approve before any page is painted. Not right? Re-roll it — every page keeps the approved look.
Can our pet be in the book?
Yes — dogs, cats, rabbits and more, with their own name and personality woven through the whole story.
What do I get?
A print-ready 8.5×8.5 inch PDF of the whole book, yours to keep and reprint forever. Printed hardcover and paperback, plus a narrated read-along audio version, are coming for the 2026 holidays.
What about photos and privacy?
Photos are optional — the book works perfectly from your description alone. If you do upload one, it is used only to draw your character, is never used to train anything, and is deleted after you approve the character.
Can I sell or share the book?
It is your family's book — print it, gift it, read it at bedtime. (Reselling the art itself is not allowed.)
