The first six pages
Leo Saves Christmas Eve is a 14-page toy 3d picture book. Here is how it opens.

The cover. Leo Saves Christmas Eve, starring Leo, 7, his cat Mittens and Rudy the stuffed reindeer.

Page 3. On snowy Christmas Eve, Leo snuggled deep in bed, with Mittens curled soft and warm at his feet, and Rudy tucked close under one arm. Outside, snowflakes danced past the window, and Leo smiled, loving this cozy night more than any other.

Page 4. At the stroke of midnight, something stirred. Rudy's little felt antlers twitched, and his button eyes blinked open. "Leo!" he squeaked. "Santa's map blew away in the storm! His sleigh is lost somewhere over the snowy rooftops!"

Page 5. Leo rubbed his eyes wide. Outside, the wind howled and swirled bits of paper through the falling snow. Mittens hopped onto the windowsill, tail flicking, eyes sharp and clever, already watching where the paper pieces flew.

Page 6. "We'll help find it," Leo whispered bravely, pulling on his scarf and boots. Mittens leaped down, ready to lead. Rudy rode snug in Leo's backpack. Together they slipped out into the quiet, snowy street, following the scattered paper trail.

Page 7. A tiny light flickered near a lamppost. There sat a small, twinkling snow sprite, no bigger than a mitten, made of frost and starlight. "I saw where the map pieces flew," she chimed, pointing toward the park.
